The PTAC HVAC Air Purification System by RGF® utilises PHI-CELL® Technology. This small but powerful air purifier reduces odours, air pollutants, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), smoke, mould, bacteria and viruses. It is specifically designed for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioning units (PTAC) which are commonly found in hotel rooms, motel rooms, flats/condos, senior-housing facilities, add-on rooms, sunrooms and hospitals. The product is easily mounted into a PTAC system without modification. When the HVAC system is in operation, the PTAC HVAC-PHI-CELL® creates an advanced oxidation process consisting of hydro-peroxides, super oxide ions and hydroxide ions. All are natural and friendly oxidisers. By friendly oxidisers, we mean oxidisers that revert back to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation/ elimination of the pollutant.
