Active MVHR with Photohydroionisation or PHI is a revolutionary new solution that provides safe and effective active air purification throughout the indoor environment that destroys SARS-CoV-2 viral emissions at the point of transmission whilst improving IAQ. It is designed for integration into new or retrofit into existing Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) installations. This level of protection is not possible with increased ventilation alone or passive air treatments such as filtration, UV, PCO or ionisation.
Active MVHR with PHI has the added benefits of reducing indoor humidity from the occupancy which can lead to condensation and mould problems during winter and eliminating at source other IAQ pollutants including odours, VOCs, radon and other gases, allergens and particulates.
Created to recreate nature’s process of purifying the air, it’s like bringing fresh outdoor air inside without ever having to open your windows. And it’s effective against all three categories of indoor air pollutants:
You can now reduce common allergy triggers from particulates such as pollen, mould spores, dander and dust. Thoroughly tested on airborne and surface bacteria & viruses, such as MRSA, e-coli, and Norwalk, to name a few. Say goodbye to odours from cooking, pets, dirty socks, nappies, and musty rooms.
A “Sneeze” chamber test was created to accurately simulate a human sneeze. The test included parameters for lung capacity, sneeze pressure, and liquid volume and was capable of replicating 100 mph liquid transmissions – the same as that produced when we sneeze. The results were outstanding. An average of 99% reduction of microbials was achieved in a double blind test, at 3 feet from the sneeze source.
